Initiative / Support

Initiative to establish this internet presence was taken by "ARGE-ALP", a working group of countries close to the Alps. To express it in a more detailed way, a working group that deals with developing a marketing concept for Silver Fir lumber enforced the establishment of www.weisstanne.info. This working group includes members of the following institutions and organizations:
- Forstliche Versuchs- und Forschungsanstalt Baden-Württemberg
- Landesanstalt für Wald- und Forstwirtschaft Bayern
- Landwirtschaftskammer Vorarlberg
- Amt der Vorarlberger Landesregierung

In addition to that, over the course of the project some more cooperation with other institutions was realized:
- Forum Weisstanne e.V.
- Leader Aktionsgruppe Nordschwarzwald
- Leader Gruppe Vorarlberg
- Leader Gruppe Westallgäu Bayerischer Bodensee

As a result of the cooperation project, the Silver Fir brochure was produced. This brochure, the work and the photography done for it and for this internet presence were financed by the following institutions:
